Review: Xbox 360 Elite
Microsoft’s newest version of its hit game console is the Xbox 360 Elite, and it is revamped and $480.00 which is $80.00 more than the Pro version of the console. When compared to the the Xbox 360 Pro the differences are few, three to be exact.
As opposed to the 20 GB hard drive that came with the Pro the Xbox 360 Elite comes with a 120 GB hard drive which will allow you to never need to upgrade your Xbox 360’s hard drive. However if you just put games on your Xbox 360 Pro’s hard drive and no multimedia files then your 20 GB hard drive should last a good long time. The second difference is that the Elite supports and includes an HDMI cable. This will allow you to connect your Xbox 360’s audio and video to your HDTV through one cable and will reduce the mass of cables residing behind your HDTV. Third and final difference between the Xbox 360 Pro and Elite is also the most obvious. The Xbox 360 Elite has undergone a make over and is black.
Once all is said and done these are some great upgrades to the Xbox 360 but it is not worth the trouble of selling your current Xbox 360 Pro console on eBay just to get an Elite. However if you have a Core console or you are getting an Xbox 360 for the first time you many want to look into the Xbox 360 Elite because the $80.00 may be worth it for you. Obviously you should definitely have or plan to get an HDTV if you even consider the Xbox 360 Elite.

I would also like to point out that the Elite is less noisy then then the other consoles and can put out images at 1080P
