One of the newest updates to the current lineup of video game consoles is from Sony and it has a 40GB hard drive and comes with a blu-ray version of Spiderman 3. It is basically the same as the other versions of the console with a few key differences. The only two very large are, the obvious, 40GB difference in hard drive space, and the lack of a media card reader which is included with the 80GB version now. The 40GB also includes built in WiFi which is something that attract many who are debating between the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Continue reading ‘Review: Play Station 3 40GB’

Nintendo’s newest video game console the Nintendo Wii has been now out for a while now and I am happy to say that I have finally managed to get my hands on one. It is by far the most fun console I have ever used as well as the most physically strenuous. The first few hours you use the Wii are very annoying because it takes a while for you to get used to the motion sensitive controller and I guarantee that the next morning you will be sore because this console is a workout no question. The newest addition to the Metroid series is for the Nintendo DS, Metroid Prime: Hunters. This is a great game that does justice to the Metroid series. The controls are one feature that I especially liked but also found difficult to get used to. You view the world around you (your targets, objects, enemies, etc…) but the standard controls involve using the touch screen to move your gun and the control pad to move. There are other control settings that allow you to use the ABXY to control the gun and the control pad to move, but after you get used to using the stylus after a little while.
